First room in Kemang
UNDERSTORY started as one narrow room in Kemang, overgrown on purpose — ferns on every ledge, light filtered through leaves, a single La Marzocco humming in the corner.
The idea was simple: make a café feel less like a queue and more like a clearing in the woods. Somewhere the city goes quiet and the coffee gets loud.
Six years later there are seventeen canopies across Jakarta, each one a little wilder than the last. Same obsession, same green.
